(Finland)
Based on an original screenplay by the writer Unto Seppänen, "Kahden tanssin välillä" was the directorial debut of Waldemar Wohlström, who had enjoyed a long career as both a stage and film actor. As its title suggests, the story unfolds between two masquerade balls at the Restaurant Nizza, moving from Helsinki’s festivities to the vast northern wilderness and back again. Wohlström, who had also worked in Sweden under Victor Sjöström, went on to direct only one more film in his career: "Olenko minä tullut haaremiin?" was completed in 1932.
